The headset camera sends live video stream to the controller in which will be presented on the LED screens of the user due to the elevated video signal that is broadcasted back to the headset.

Who invented it?
Conrad Lewis, an eSight Founder from Canada invented this technology due to his personal life. His two sisters were both visually impaired, his wife had numerous retinal detachment and himself that currently experiencing vision loss due to head trauma. As a result of that, he worked with skilled engineers and vision specialist to design a wearable, hands-free, portable and a non-surgical device to help people who are visually impaired.

How much does it costs and where to buy?

Before getting this device it is compulsory to request a free demo on their website which will give the customer an option to call or leave a message through their website. The demo would take about an hour with an eSight clinical specialist that test and measures the vision conditions of the customer.

What is the impact of it?
This technology has a positive impact for the people who has visual impairment as it gives them another chance to see the bright world. An eSight user names Shera said that “I saw a face for the first time in ten and a half years. I literally broke down crying… It’s a like for the rest of my life”. With this technology, it is possible for them to see their family/relatives for the first time, cook, use computers, watch TV or even fly a plane if they want to.
